Question Conversion Info (us ATP to CAA / JAR)

I know you are all tired of answering this question but I would like to get it from the "ones who know".
I have a US ATP-H with 4800 hrs (no F/W time)and would like to know whats required to transfer my tickets. I do know it's not a straight swap. Give it to me straight, I can take it.
Also, what are the chances in the North Sea.
Thanks for your help.

I am converting my Canadian CPL-H at the moment (but a Brit') and also hope for the North sea, check out the FAQ at
http://www.srg.caa.co.uk/pld/fcl/fcl_faq.asp

most questions are answered there, do also read the "information section , policy update", as it is all changing pretty quick
