Question Kellett synchropter question

Does anyone, know anyone, who knows where I can obtain information, preferably of a technical nature, on the old Kellett intermeshing (synchropter) helicopters?

thanks;

Thumbs up

There is a chapter in R.W. Prouty's book, 'More Helicopter Aerodymamics' about the synchropter.

Magumba; thanks for the post.

Prouty's closing remark in that article was one of the enticements that caused me to dig deeper into the intermeshing configuration.

"The synchropter may be an idea whose time has come and gone. On the other hand, it may have been ahead of its time and just the right configuration for some future helicopter development." ~ R.W. Prouty
