NJ Traffic

I live in New Jersey, not far from where the Garden State Parkway intersects the NJ Turnpike. On almost any weekday, and to some fair measure, Saturdays, too, a lot of helicopter traffic (Jet Rangers?) seems to follow both major roadways.

I presume most of this is to or from Newark Airport, but I am curious about the other departure points. Is there regularly scheduled helicopter service between EWR and elsewhere of which I am not aware?
