Cause: Heavy equipment being loaded too far aft.
Note: (a)Four ground crew running from the load ramp area and one crouching behind the forkliftr at RH side of picture.
(b) Piece of tail rotor blade going up (above main rotor.

Still can't see the image,
HHmmmm, I’m wondering if the wascally Wussians are blocking the transmissions from helidrvr’s homestead site.

Hopefully normal transmission will resume soon.
Vfrpilot, I don’t think anybody was hurt in that incident (maybe afterwards in the bosses’ office).
I was told that the tailboom had to be replaced, because it hit the ground fairly hard. I’m not sure how the Mi 26 is constructed but it sounded feasible to me.

Just talking about this incident to our Ch.Eng., who was there, and one of my pilots, who has just left PNG. Apparently it was 3 months before the repairs were completed, and the MGB had to be long lined in by Chinook, since there was no 8-9 tonne crane available to do the job
