Vfrpilot, I don’t think anybody was hurt in that incident (maybe afterwards in the bosses’ office).
I was told that the tailboom had to be replaced, because it hit the ground fairly hard. I’m not sure how the Mi 26 is constructed but it sounded feasible to me.
