Unhappy Aeromega

Anybody have any news on the rather sad rumour that Aeromega are in difficult straits?

I have also heard that this is the case.

Allegedly they are trying to re-new one of the Police contracts (Sussex possibly) and if they don't get it, they are going to be in serious do-do!!!

I guess we will have to wait and see!

Hope to hell they don't go under, they are the only serious contenders to the big players (PAS/MASL)in the market. We need healthy competition. Nice guys within the corporation too. Fingers crossed they come thru the other side!

It's Suffolk. Up for renewal at the end of the year.

TC---

I wouldn't want any company to go under, but the Police/Helimed sector has too much competition, not too little. There are at least four companies operating: PAS/MAS, Bond, McAlpine and Aeromega. I doubt if there is a long-term future for all of them.

Have Suffolk said whether they might go for direct employment of pilots?
