Smile Gazelle , The Porche of the Sky

, Good afternoon from the UK, I think the child hero of the film " Empire of the Sun" captioned the name " Cadilac of the Sky" for the P51 Mustang , I am certainly no hero but I would like to attache the name " Porche of the Sky " to the Gazelle Helio, I was collected from a one way trip on saturday PM in my friends Gazelle, all spiffing new leather and contrasting piping along with all zero timed hardware, what a performer this craft is, example 80% torque IAS 145knts , so smooth as to wonder whay all other helios shake, handles like a just like a 30 year old blonde( sorry Ladies) you mil types out there who have flown these should have paid the MOD for the experiance

Viffer,

If a 'porche' is a French lean-to on the side of a building, then you describe reasonably well the handling attributes of a Gazelle AH1 with all the gubbins attached. However, if you'd have let me get my hands on a Froggie SA342 avec HOT missiles, or maybe even a Yugo Partizan with SA7, then I might be a little more enthusiastic.

By the way, can anyone explain why UK MOD removed Stab from most of the Army's aircraft - when possession of said item would've made observation work quite bearable - but left it in the RN/RAF aircraft where it masked several of the effects students need to see (in-flow roll, for example)?

PS add Cadillac, Porsche, experience to the spoll chucker.

Chap calls at the back door of a very large and grand house and asks the owner if he can be given work.

"Sure", says the owner, "Take this can of paint and this brush, go round the front and repaint the porch".

Ten minutes later, the caller rings again to hand back the brush.

"That was quick, any problems?" asks the owner.

"Well I couldn't see a Porch so I did the Ferrari instead!"

Cool

If a Gazelle is a Porsche, the UH-1H is a Harley!

Thud and blunder, the Army didn't want it and we in the RAF just turned it off to do the demo's!

Maybe R44 would be Reliant Schimitar?

Enstrom 280 a Bedford CF or Skoda Estelle
(the 1300cc version, not the 1050!)?
