Having spent time with Nick over the years when those and similar topics have come up in conversation, I have no doubt he could write a fascinating book. Nick describes events/incidents in such a modest 'matter of fact' way but, to anyone interested in helicopters, the stories are gripping.

However, I'm pleased he's starting with an educational book. Nick has that rare gift of being able to explain even difficult topics in a way which makes even someone as inexperienced and uninformed as me wonder why I didn't understand it before.
I suspect an educational book by Nick will add to everyone's knowledge of helicopters, from pilots at my lowly level to the most experienced.

I hope he writes about his work at Sikorsky as well, at some stage. It would be a fascinating read.

Ah yes it would....in red crayon and big block letters. He did attend Cow Tech in Georgia if one recalls correctly. Probably lived on the wonderful hotdogs from the place around the corner from the campus.....and considered it a night out when he did.
