What happened to the Bell 230? The 230 is not the same as the 222, the 230 has a longer tailboom and it makes it look better, more like a shark.

The 430 with with the tall fairing that covers the swashplate looks odd. The A109 is also nice, but the 230 is impressive.

Well you had 6 months to get them in people - I do agree I missed the Lynx out and no one wanted the Dauphin, strangely. So I guess its a botch up !

TFS,

Not a botch up, just that I think all pilots have a soft spot for their favourite office.

Or the Queen of the Skies....the Chinook or even the wonderful old Huey so proudly proclaimed the Best Helicopter by the Discovery Channel.

Count my vote.....as Abstaining!

Who on earth is voting for the Super Puma - I've got more hours on the AS332 than any other type, and even I'll admit, its not the most hansome horse in the stable ! Whilst not being 'Mil-esque' in ugliness, it cannot begin to compete with the likes of A109, S-76, Bell 222.

Or am I missing some hidden beauty ?

its the way to arrive

When I used to do exec work the S76 took the prizes. Everyone else would drool over them especially if you had the de-luxe fit in the back (with cocktail cabinet and coffee bar) and all the toys up the front. When at the polo, the racing or at good old Battersea the birds loved this machine.

Of course flying the damn thing on your own was another story! No forward vis and landing it somewhere tight was a but-clincher

Wot? No Squirrel?

I think squirrels are pretty

I have a bit of a soft spot for the Bolkow as well! A face that only a mother could love but it was the first heli I ever flew in.

However, I had to vote for the S76 - apparently their pilots have neat butts!! Bit less of the homo- for some of us!

Cheers
