Gazelle crash at hickstead racecourse
An ex military gazelle, now operating on a recently issued permit to fly has crashed at Hickstead race course, just south of Gatwick. Quite a bit of damage to the machine, apparently rolled over on take off?? passengers ok.Any body know anymore details?
The market is about to be flooded with atleast 10-15 of these (post refurbishment) if someone in the south west gets their way. One careful owner (sorry 100), honest and only £145,000 each. The way to go for a fast buck, methinks
Hope this doesn't spoil the production run...
glad no-one hurt.

Well what do you expect, the owner had done the bare minimum 5 hours on his conversion.
Apparently lost control in the hover!.
insufficent right pedal!!!!.
Maybe a little refresher training required for the instructor! and a harder look at the student by the examiner!. M.W. Helis are only signing off after a minimum of 10hrs.Like it or lump it!.And the examiner put's the candidate through hell.
