From half way across the world and from a pilot who follows your arguments with interest, best wishes for your recovery.

Aviation text books still refer to Aerodynamic Theory. Therefore you are entitled to your theoretical opinions until it becomes a law. We need your input, so hang around for a while.

Lu old sport...a bit of nauseum would be only fair....think of all you gave your trusted colleague and dear friend Lappos over the years! Granted he is probably still sticking pins in his Lu Doll.

Lu,

I'm at least/no more than an agnostic but my prayers are with you. I have enjoyed your posts here and look forward to many more. Pull pitch and beat it out of there!

Thumbs up Yeah Docter but you said I was in remission.

To paraphrase the words of the immortal General Douglas MacArthur when he said, "I'll be back". Well it seems the Leukemia had the same idea. I went in for a blood test last Tuesday and the Doctor saw something suspicious in the printout. She had me give more blood and this test verified that the Leukemia had returned. Next Wednesday I go back for another blood test and a bone marrow biopsy. I think it takes two days to get the bone marrow results and at that time the doctor will most likely put me back in the hospital for a more extensive chemotherapy. She indicated that this would possibly cause me some really big problems like internal bleeding or a severe infection or at the worst "death". So much for the options.

I'll keep in touch,

Lu

We are all thinking of you, it seems lame to say stick with it, because we have no idea what you are really going through, but stick with it anyway!

Lu, as ever you share your honest thoughts with all of us. Next time you are on the forum could you give us some of your thoughts regarding the next 20 years in the Heli industry. Political, designs, engineering, aerodynamics,people...etc, and try not to forget the amazing attributes of that upsidedown lawnmower: THE ROBINSOB 22.................wish you a continued recovery and good health.

Hi Lu,

I've really enjoyed reading your technical posts. Keep fighting the thing 'till you beat it. Visit your local healthfood shop for lots of vitamins and minerals (antioxidants ets) - just gives your immune system the ammo it needs to see you right. Keep in touch with the forum so we can give you some positive vibes.

Very disappointing news, Lu. Bad as I know chemo is, try and retain your positive attitude, because it really does help in the battle. (Kick the grim reaper in the nuts enough times and he'll bugger off and pick on someone else.)

Hang in there mate.
