Cool Medical Flying in the UK

How close to impossible would it be for a US-based EMS pilot with experience in twins and singles, instrument rating et al...to get work in the UK?

And if it's not impossible, what would it take?

And is the pay enough to support a wife who would probably not be allowed to work (she's a US citizen too).

Cheers.

Professor fate:

(a) the Uk pays a lot more than your boys do

(b) With your experience you'd have no problems doing the job.

(c) without a CAA or JAA licence your chances are nil.

try asking for a credit from the CAA together with some extra exams, could work for you?

At least we'll let you boys in without a biochip passport
