Engine Condensation

Can anyone tell me how the condensation inside the engine nacelle on jets is formed

Does it have something to do with the preessure differential across the fan blades (guessing)

Thanks

Sonia

Adiabatic cooling can occur in the engine intake as the increased airflow results in a reduction of pressure. The reduction in temperature can be as much as 5C, moisture can also appear in the intake in clear air at the ground when the temp/dewpoint is within 3 degrees of each other.
