cumulusse- that's nothing these days! Overlay on that instrument the position of the aircraft, a radar display, the VOR/ADF needles, and it becomes all you need with several selectable sub modes so you can fly NDB or VOR approaches and get an indication of how closely you are folowing your correct required descent profile from Top of Descent.
