How does one become a Concorde pilot?
I am just qurious as to how one intially becomes a Concorde pilot. Do they need previous fast jet experience or high seniority number?
Secondly, what sort of hours do they fly in a month?
Thanks

No just as long as you have the required seniority within BA you can go on Concorde. There is an interview but it is a rubber stamp to make sure that you realise the length of the course and don't mind New York as a second home.
You'll get me on my hobby horse with that, things we used to be to do...
- Man used to walk on the moon
- Britain used to have real fighters, real aircraft carriers
- Britain used to build aeroplanes with more than 2 seats....
.... on it's own
And eventually
- We used to have a supersonic airliner...
