Skills Test.
Hi all,
I wanted to know if it's necessary to complete the 14 exams BEFORE doing the Skills Test? I am current on the A330 and A350 now, and would rather do the Skills Test first instead of quitting my job, studying for the exams and doing the Skills Test when I'm no longer current. Also does anyone know where I could do this on a A330 or A350 and how much would it cost? Thanks!

Yes I'm converting my Canadian and Hong Kong ATPL to EASA. It's not likely I'll be looking for a A330 or A350 job in Europe anyway so maybe I should just get a skills test done on a generic sim without getting a type-rating added?

I would try to get the A330/A350 rating on the license as well. It does allow for a much faster conversion for A320 which opens a lot of possible jobs. No need to get into a A350 simulator, A330 should be enough and those should be around in different simulator centers.
