Dash 8 Q400 Type Rating

Hi All,

I am looking for an affordable training facility for Q400 type rating in either USA or Canada.
I would highly appreciate any information in that regard.

Affordable is in the eye of the beholder, but there are Q400 simulators at Flight Safety International in Toronto and Seattle, and CAE Montreal and Toronto, they'd be your best bet to start with. I prefer the CAE simulators myself, having flown both for 15 years, but I can't speak to their ground schools.

Air Canada and WestJet also own CAE simulators, but I'm not aware of them providing training to non-company employees - probably not right now at least.
