CAT IIIA climb gradients
As you know if a runway is CAT IIIB approved it goes without saying that it also CAT IIIA approved without the need to show this on the chart. However when a CAT IIIB procedure specifies a minimum climb gradient on the chart , does it automatically mean that this climb gradient is also applicable for the CAT IIIA procedure ?
By reference to the attached example photo one would assume that most likely yes but i just need a definite confirmation because it is important .

Cat 3 minimas on Navtech charts are customer specific. In this case, the airline has decided to list the lowest minima only and Navtech will only write "Available" unless the mimima are different to NO DH (75m) or 50ft RA (200m).
The 4.9% climb gradient therefore applies to Cat 3A approach as well, as commond sense would dictate.
