A320 SIM Europe

Greetings all.
Wondering would any of you be able to help me. I am a low hour pilot who has an assessment in an A320. I wanted to post this thread here as I know being experienced pilots this might be my best chance of good solid advise.

I have never flown an Airbus before and this is my dream job so I hope anyone with any information or advise can help.

I am looking for a good quality full motion SIM in Europe , I am UK based so anywhere in Europe is ok for me. Price is obviously very important , however I don't want to spend cheap and in return go somewhere where the instruction , SIM etc is terrible.

Thanks so much for any advise at all.

Safe Flying ,

SAR

I would say the best is to contact Pilot Training Network - Home: ATPL Pilotenausbildung / Simulator Training / Angebote für Airlines
It is Lufthansa Flight Trainings company for privat SIM Training.
They provide screening preparation and have A320 SIMs in FRA, SXF, VIE and MUC. Just contact them.
1h A320 would be around 500€ plus about 100€ for the trainer.

The other one I know is TFC Training in Essen near Düsseldorf.
They even have a fixed base trainer of the A320, so that would be cheaper.

What is your thoughts on using a full motion V fixed base A320

The company I am interviewing for are aware I have never flown an a320 , and I am low hour pilot. So I'm not sure what level is expected of me.

As a low hours pilot they won't expect you to be a hotshot in the 320. Good hand eye coordination, good basic IR flying skills and most importantly they want to see that you can be trained and that you take instruction well. On this point, listen very carefully to any advice or tips the instructors/interviewers give you. Its also important that you learn from your mistakes, eg on your first ILS approach with flap and gear extension you end up getting high due to not anticipating the balloon effect, they will want to see then that on the second approach you have learned from that mistake and anticipate accordingly.

Cockpit4u is in my point of view a bit expensive.
It is very unusual to do a SIM assessment on a A320 if you are not type rated and specialy for a low hour pilot, but as mentioned they don't expect you to be perfect.
Depending on what you want to spent, I would suggest you to take 2h on a FBS and 1h on a FFS. You can do both at TFC. You will be around 1000-1200€
But I know that the A320 FFS is quite busy at these days.

Thank you so much gents for such helpful replies. I have emailed all your suggestions @EAM.

PM flight (UK) seem fairly professional and well used to this set up .
Anybody had any dealings with them or any others I have mentioned above??
