Normal flaps for takeoff on 737-NG are 1, 5, and 15
Hi
Normal flap for takeoff on B737-NG are 1, 5, and 15.
Standard flap for takeoff is 5.
You could also find from a book that 25 also is available.
Question is .................................................
Can you use 10?
If it is true, I can't find it any where is the book.
If it is not true, why?
Thanks Guys.

Standard flaps depends on your operation, in ours it is 1, not 5. Usable flap settings are indeed 1, 5, 10, 15, 25. The latter one as far as i know only on the short field performance kit equipped aircraft, but i might be wrong.
Our mob uses 1-25 - all are certified takeoff settings. Flap 10 can be helpful with various runway length/obstacle pairings.
Flap 25 is needed fairly often when you operate out of Bristol for example (non SFP aircraft)

Fair enough. Haven't used flaps 2 for takeoff yet, but it might be possible. We only have SFP aircraft and 25 is rather rare for us (Las Palmas comes to mind) so i didn't know if it was available to all. Good to know that it is
