Normal flaps for takeoff on 737-NG are 1, 5, and 15

Hi
Normal flap for takeoff on B737-NG are 1, 5, and 15.
Standard flap for takeoff is 5.
You could also find from a book that 25 also is available.
Question is .................................................

Can you use 10?
If it is true, I can't find it any where is the book.
If it is not true, why?

Thanks Guys. :)

It is indeed true.
What is your book called ? You may need a new one :)

Standard flaps depends on your operation, in ours it is 1, not 5. Usable flap settings are indeed 1, 5, 10, 15, 25. The latter one as far as i know only on the short field performance kit equipped aircraft, but i might be wrong.

Our mob uses 1-25 - all are certified takeoff settings. Flap 10 can be helpful with various runway length/obstacle pairings.

Flap 25 is needed fairly often when you operate out of Bristol for example (non SFP aircraft)

Fair enough. Haven't used flaps 2 for takeoff yet, but it might be possible. We only have SFP aircraft and 25 is rather rare for us (Las Palmas comes to mind) so i didn't know if it was available to all. Good to know that it is ;)

Flaps 2 was a scheduled flap setting for take off on the B737-200. When the -300 came into service Flaps 2 was not a scheduled flap setting.
