A330 Pilot eye height?
Hi there,
Does anyone know what the height above ground level is of the pilots eyes when the aircraft is on the ground? Suspected upcoming interview question.
I don't have access to the FCOM's on our company iPad where I am.
(I appreciate that I could download them but with my ancient, woefully slow laptop it would be a really long process )
Please include reference if at all possible!
Many thanks.

Pointless – absolutely.
Go to an interview with the smart a*s answers should quickly lead to questions seeking to explore the depth of knowledge.
Why is eye ht important, in which operations is it relevant, how it is determined / set. Also how far ahead can you see – ground / air, wheel ht vs eye ht, TCH, eye to ILS ht, long landing PAPIs, etc, etc.
Numbers are of little use without the underlying knowledge and awareness of how to apply it.

Yes, I agree with you, I don't see the point to it either. But as the saying goes 'I just play the piano...I don't write the music' :-)
Thanks very much for your help.
