Radiation exposure

This may not be the correct forum so the mods should feel free to move it as they wish.

Is anyone aware of any operators that monitor and restrict high latitude polar ops based up real or potential radition exposure levels and if so what is the basis for these restrictions? I know some have used radition monitoring for set periods of time and believe ALPA and others have had a hand it this kind of proactive research but I'm not aware of any specific airline program that is in effect at this time. Yor feedback is appreciated.

All European operators are required to monitor the likely dose, usually done with a predictor programme. There are several available online (NASA do one), or larger companies have it integrated into their flight time records system.
Any (EASA) commercial aircraft going over 49,000ft is required to have monitoring equipment fitted, but in practice we just limit the Globals and Gulfstreams to 49k in the Ops Manual, since that's a lot cheaper!
