Question German pilots working overseas

Hey there!
I was wondering if any german pilot working overseas could give me some help with this problem.

Due to my wife's job it's very likely we will move to Germany. I will probably work out of Germany in midle-east or asia.
Does anybody know how would my incomings be taxed?

Should I choose to be payd in a bank account in Swiss or Luxenburg would make any diference regarding german taxation?

Where can I get more information regarding this matter?

Thanks a lot!

If you live in germany and work in a country without double taxation treaty you will be taxed in germany. No middle east country has such a treaty, as far as i know most asian countries have it either.

Even if a double taxation treaty exists the germans will tax you for those parts of your pay that is not taxed abroad. The easy jet guys should know more about that.

If you receive your pay in a swiss or luxembour bank account and evade taxes that could work. However germany is actively buying stolen bank data to get to those tax evaders and will prosecute them. It is a gamble if it would work out or not.

Denti, Thanks for your replying. I hope someone from easy jet can add some more information here.

Anyway, since some jobs in midle-east are tax-free wouldn't be so bad to pay taxes in Germany, however pay it twice is very painfull...
