OPC/LPC abroad and UK CAA

Hi all,
Looked around but couldn't find an answer.
I own a UK CAA JAA license and I work for an Estonian company.
This month I have my OPC.
My IR is due to expire on February 2013.
On that month I'll have my LPC.

Questions:

- Can I revalidate the IR on the OPC or is it only possible on the LPC?
- Can the TRI/TRE, who is Estonian and owns an Estonian license, sign my certificate of revalidation after the check?

I guess the answer is 'no' to both questions, but I'm looking for someone in a similar situation to be sure. I guess, in any scenario, I have to send all the paperwork to the UK CAA after the check and pay the usual fee.

Thanks a lot for any help I could get.
Good evening to everyone!
