Jumpseating in the UK - anybody?
Hi there,
I've seen videos, and heard stories, of people that have had contacts at airlines, and been able to arrange jumpseat flights, for non crew members. I understand you cannot just approach the cockpit and ask to jumpseat, but with the correct security checks before hand, and arranged in advance, I've heard people say they've done so.
I don't know anyone in the airline industry whatsover, so I was wondering, is there anybody on here, who knows anyone that might be able to put in a word?

"but you could always get a pilot's uniform and try an Italian aircraft"
I didn't think It'd be possible somehow. One of the ones I heard was the child of a pilot who was allowed to follow a flight for Work Experience, but as you all say, I think it's pretty much a no-no.
