wow, really? Ive heard that its different there. They start off in regional jets and slowly work up from there compared to Europe where you can hope on the big boys much quicker

Ah, c'mon... My first airline job was in a 744.

Of course, that was after 20 years of Navy flying...

but today is not when Im getting a job. its 10 years so thats a BIG difference
