Post vmax for 737-400/800 at FL350?

Hello all,

I was wondering if any -400 /-800 pilots could tell me what the max speed (in mach) for their ship is at FL350.
I need the info for Flight Simulator 2000 where I have seen people do what HAD to be overspeeding.. (.86 for example).
A quick email or post would be appreciated.

My company says in the flying manual max speed is .82 hope it helps. With an average load say 56T at FL350 max speed is about .75 if you do not want the buffet warning appearing on the FMC

For both types the max speed at all altitudes is 340kts/Mach 0.82

However, as the wing of a -800 is significantly different than a -400, the max attainable speed at FL350 with an average payload is ± M0.76 for a -400, and ± M 0.795 for a -800.

Hope this helps.

Thank you both. That clears up a few things.
