for pilots flying in india...
how can i get wx briefs from the Indian Met department???
and also can someone give a brief description on what is required for a pre-flight briefing to your commander??
i'm a new FO looking to make a good impression...

From the same place that you got your weather when you were doing your CPL and type rating training? But here would also work. As to what and how you brief, that will be company specific and incorporated in your line training. A really nifty organisation will describe what information is required and where it will come from. Working ahead of the plan is generally not a good idea.
