F***in H**l!!!
Is this a wind up? Of course it is!! Any job offer is a good job offer if you have been offered sod all previously. Likewise ANY Turboprop 2 pilot time is good time.
Surely you must be able to see that?!!??
Now, if you don't mind, I'll just settle back down again. But, please think about your question again.
I am sure there will be plenty of people to take any 228 offer if you decide it is not Boeing like enough for you......

First of all, all D228 have the same engines the TPE-331-*. Second the D228 is certified as one pilot a/c and is not recognized by the CAA as a multi crew a/c. Therefore you donīt need MCC to fly it but you will need MCC when going on a larger a/c. Thirdly why in the he** are you guyīs getting so pissed at a legitimate question.

Myk,
Are you absolutly sure about the single pilot certification?
If it is certified for single pilot ops then a special flight test must be required, ala the BE-1900 and CE-500.
Are you saying that the CAA doesn't recognize those 2 a/c as MCC?
(nice name, by the way, very clever has me rolling on the floor - not!!)

Not being an expert, I could be wrong, but i believe that the Do228 has two engine types, the Garrett TPE 331-10T-511D and Garrett TPE 331-5T-511D...the latter being an uprated version and therefore more powerful.
