As far as I know everybody at BA gets an extra weeks pay, it's like 'part of the deal'.

exeng: That's true except for FOs at EOG with less than 2 yrs on the line....officially. Last year payments were made to FO's by accident. Those of us who have joined in the last 12 months were to get nothing this year, until thankfully, Monica just this week organised the 'bonus' to go on our January payslips. This is I believe in *anticipation* of a successful outcome in negotiations to achieve parity. I hope the result is successful...I don't see why FO's at EOG should be treated differently to all the other pilots in the company!

Nothing but then my big boss is a Muslim, it's a bit of a problem as we have both Islamic and Christian staff...get a years' salary at the end of year three with the company which sort of makes up for it!

Many moons ago, when I used to work for Air Europe, they used to give every member of staff a fresh turkey (of some size too) plus two bottles of spirit (either Scotch of Vodka) - my present employers give us sweet FA - bah humbug !

Stop press.... (hence the edit).... just found out that we're all to receive a cheque for £100 - so I take it all back - bah humbug

Don't suppose it was when Errol Cossey was there was it Old King Coal??? He did the same kind of thing at Air2 and Flying Colours. Used to get a bottle of champagne with it as well, which is all we're expecting this year.

We get to pay a $10 cover charge just to get into the company X-mas party. Don't forget your credit card because once you get in you have to still buy your own drinks.

I stand corrected we got a very nice unexpected amount of Cash!!!

Dinner, overnight and breakfast allowance at 1996 rates in an exotic tropical location in the middle of the cyclone season. But when they find that everything was shut on Xmas day they will want the brekkie allowance back, as I obviously couldn't spend it....

Two lovely pens, so you have the option which one to use to sign your resignation ( of course if we don't go TU before)

*Looking in pigeonhole in inflight office* Hmm, no cheese, no tesco vouchers, no wine, no turkey, just dust and the wind of decreased seniority if the dreaded merger goes through..........
