Question Does any one know what the ex Sabre Airways B727-200s are doing?

I was wondering if the ex Sabre Airwasy B727-200s G-BNNI/G-BPND/G-OPMN are operational still. I heard they were going to be for Cougar, but have not heard anything.

Where are they based, what configurations pax/cargo, type of work, routes etc?

I used to fly on them as cabin crew and would be interested to have any info.
Does any one fly them perhaps?

Thanks in advance.

I started a thread on Cougar on the Freight Dogs Forum a while back asking that same question. (sort of).

I guess Cougar is in regulartory red tape at this time.

1 pax and 3 cargo maybe?

Both OPMN & BPND have recently been worked on by FR Aviation at Bournemouth. OPMN was crew training yesterday.

I saw one in Las Vegas McCarran without the the Sabre titles, but with the red tail on it about a year ago.

G-OPMN was crew training again at Bournemouth yesterday but then departed to Chateauroux.

If anyone's interested, Bournemouth is seeing an increasing number of B727's. Current visitors are VP-BGW, G-BPND, 5N-FGN and 6V-AEF. All I believe are -200's.

I heard that G-OPMN left BOH yesterday to go into the paint shop,
don't know where though.
