Question To those that fly for a living

Hi,

I just wondered what the general feeling is amongst captains flying with those that are new to the job with low hours say around 250hrs.

Thanks

Merely a thought and probably at a tangent, but it happens a lot in the military!

Training is somewhat different, but in mil twin seat FJ, the ab-initio pilot doesn't have much more when he starts flying his Tornado.

The general feeling is probably along the lines of "that used to be me".

I agree. It all depends on the F/O's attitude. If (s)he's willing to learn, Great!!! If, however, (s)he all ready knows it all, or comes up with the ever popular "That's not how I was taught", well, it can turn into a long month, for both of us.

Good luck with your career, you're going to be fine.

Maybe thats another advantage of the older modular folk. Seen a bit of the world and understand the difference between the real world and the theory.
