JAR FCL 'Legal' Status

Whilst I appreciated that it has never had any real legal clout within the UK, now that the JAA has officially ceased to exist ( Joint Aviation Authorities ) and EASA has not assumed any official responsibilities for FCL or Medical matters, what is the LEGAL situation within the UK so far as these issues go?

I know a silly question, but have you spoken to FCL'g at the Belgrano ?

If it ain't with EASA, it's still with whoever had it before - as merlin says, it'll be at the Belgrano for UK
