Red face

Speculation one thinks? With the way fuel is going I think they will be looking at which assets they can scale back before creating a new base.

Isle of Man, on very good authority; enquiries having been made about getting some of the aircraft on the new "M-xxxx" register there. Allegedly.

Cool

IOM, that would be a very interesting development now, correct me please but is the IOM a tax haven? Good luck to them. Thinking out of the box. You watch BA will anounce the newly built terminal 6, otherwise known as Jersey. Seriously thoe its good to see airline chiefs (IF TRUE) looking at all the options. Good luck EZY

Isle of Man will only deal in private/corporate aircraft.

It is a non starter for any AOC holder to have a M reg.

You should ignore your "Good Authority" - it's complete tosh! as ecj points, M-reg aircraft are private cat only, no public transport and nothing in the pipeline to suggest that will change...

Exeter....you saw it here first.

New owners will do anything to reduce dominant position of Flybe. And they've got a grand(iose) new plan to finance.

A Easyjet operation makes sense, and word has it that talks are in progress.

If I was a betting man, and I am, I'd put all my money on BCN. Soon as that new terminal is open for business.

I'd also have an outside punt on another Italian base, possibly Rome (the one beginning with F that I can never remember - Fiuminese?)

Exeter I would be astonished. It hardly has the capacity or catchment area to become a "big" base. Big in ezy speak is at least 10 a/c. Given that the smaller bases such as EMA GLA and EDI are under threat, it would be a long shot. I'll give you 50-1!

IOM not a tax haven any more. Seems like Easy might be like working at BA with the same cynics.
