Where can you get historical weather data from?
I've tried the Met office only to find that a minimum charge of £150 is in place for all enquiries about historical data.
They do offer a service for students, but it is very limited and I'm after specific criteria.
So can anyone help? Basically I need the average daily cloudbase, Horizontal Viz, Windspeed and direction for a couple of sites in Scotland. Data for the last 10 years would be good to!
Thanks in advance.

Had occasion recently to be looking for historical data albeit in N America. Various links turned up, info is at work, will take a gander tomorrow, see if any are international in scope....

www.wunderground.com has historical data you can easily access. Whether it gives the info you are after is another matter. Cheers.
