Question regarding standby travel etc..

This might sound a daft question, but having now been with airline for over a year now, I am entitled to use the interline booking aggreements we have with other airlines... One term that keeps cropping up is subload, quite simply does this refer to being on 'standby' for a flight or is it something else???

regards

Surely your airline has a department to handle such things, and you do have colleagues who will be only too happy to explain it all to you?
