A319 or ACJ with Double Tandem landing gear?

I heard, that the A319 and the ACJ are available with a double tandem landing gear.

Are there any sources of information on that?

Thanks!

Some of the older 320s operating in India had twin bogey main gear so they could operate to airfields with inadequate PCN (or is it ACN) numbers for single bogey ops. Perhaps they've reinstated it as an option for the ACJ?

As far as I know twin bogeys are a standard option on the small busses, itīs just that Air India was the only carrier that ever chose this option. Weight penatly is around 420kg if i remember correctly.

A bit pedantic perhaps, but it was Indian Airlines, not Air India, with the 4-wheel bogie A320s.

The bogie gear makes a big difference to the runways that the A320 operates to:

And a picture of it is at:

The bogie gear was only ever certificated on A320 a/c, as a specific mod for Indian Airlines. As far as I know it has never been offered as an option on A319 etc.
