Anyone can help with the definition of what JAR 25 aeroplane is? are the EMB120 and the King air 200 JAR 25?
Thanks in advance

JAR-25/FAR-25 cover larger aircraft. The alternative is the JAR-23/FAR-23 Normal, Utility, Aerobatic, and Commuter Category.

I think the breakpoint is something like 19 pax. Can anyone confirm?

I think the guts of it is a JAR 25 aircraft has "guaranteed" takeoff performance if an engine fails at V1. Types are usually 2 crew etc and are classified as Transport category. I *think* the smallest JAR 25 aircraft is a Shorts 330.
I don't know about the 19 seats it's probably not incorrect.

The EMB120 is JAR 25 (the EMB110 is not)
The King air is not.
