In my experiance the Jemstone 748s are well maintained and "go tech" only as often as you would expect given the incredible ammount of short sectors they undertake.

Emerald 748's seem to go tech all at once, one day they're all flying and the next.. well they ALL go bang and need their elastic bands changed. in the main they are pretty reliable though. The crews seem pretty good guys as well but I only get to see a few of them as I ain't at LPL.

started on emerald 748's in 1995, midland 737's in 1997 and monarch A300 in sept 1998.

dont knock em, turbines a turbine.....mcc is mcc.....flying hours are flying hours.
