Exclamation ATPL Scholarship

I am writing to make sure that all those wannabee pilots out there know that GAPAN offer a full ATPL Scholarship every year. After speaking to one of the people involved in the scheme i was horrified to hear them imply that maybe the scholarship (£60,000 worth of flight training and then the freedom to work for who you want to) is not what people are looking for! Please tell me that you all know about this scheme. I was informed that the 2001 scholarship which has just closed for applicants, received less than one hundred applications!!

I have heard of the GAPAN scheme and think it is a great idea. However, GAPAN scheme is only available to those with PPL's it sadly isnt a zero to ATPL.

Or am I totally incorrect. I know they offer a PPL sponsorship too.

This was the advert from this year, on their website at www.gapan.org.

Damn,

missed that one. I guess where it says: "Evidence of strong motivation towards a career in aviation " . If I was so motivated, I may have spotted the advert in the first place.

My fault.

I was 26 last week. My PPL and Class 1 are sitting on a shelf gathering dust.
