Cool First Solo Complete !!!

Hi fellow PPRuNe'rs
Today I went solo for the first time, and it could not have gone any better.
The weather and vis was excellent, other traffic was to a minimum and to finish it off, a textbook landing.

According to Trevor Thom, I am now "admitted to the family of pilots"!

Cheers, Tri

Good one, Tri.

With a bit of luck this is but the first step on a very long journey in aviation.

Blue Skies & Good Luck!

Cool

Well done - a major milestone in your life, never mind your flying career. No go have a beer and celebrate.

Congratulations. Isn't it a great feeling when you hear the "wheels against runway" noise dissapear and no instructor chatting away?

Onwards and upwards,

Well done Tri,

how many people can say that they have actually flown an aircraft on their own?

Only a few.

How many would like to?

Lots and lots.

Good luck with the rest of your PPL

Cheers guys!

Captainmac: I am 17, training @ Solent Flight, flying PA28's.

Gazeem: I liked your reply! It is very true!

I had to look over to the right hand seat while flying downwind just to see if I really was up there alone!

Well played Trislander - I'm a couple of hours behind you I guess, and unless I figure out this flare thing then it ain't going to happen - mentally unless I have this by hour 15 I'm resigning from PPRuNe!

I hope you raided the beer cupboard at home - deserved.

Well done mate, I'm still a way off but looking forward to joining the club very soon, 2 lessons a week should see me achieve
this in the near future(weather permitting!). Anyway enjoy the rest of your training and good luck in the future.
Kind regards
