My advice at this stage from someone high up in the old Air UK was that not many doctors come straight out of doc school and start brain surgery so why should i expect to finish my training and step into the right hand seat of a very expensive airliner.
It's great if you can don't get me wrong,if someone had offered it to me i would have been off like a shot and wouldn't anyone.
But the brutal truth is that after finishing your ATPL and CPL modules you are still very much a rookie.Take nothing away from completing your exams etc but i've learnt more in two years of instructing about flying and myself if i was honest than the exams can ever teach you.
It's not just about knowledge but the maturing of the fairly basic elements of flying over a period of time that has transformed not only my flying ability and mangement of an aircraft be it a small one,but great interpersonal skills are also learnt which hopefully when i makt to an airline will satnd me in good stead.
where should you apply to? An instructor course,a good one.You will stand a fairly good chance of getting a job if you put yourself about and your step up the ladder many have followed will begin.
good luck and kepp it fun regards Chris
Dreadful spelling i'm sorry, just drunk 3'rd can of Scrumpy Jack and am ready to throw in the towel. It's the flying that's done it to me honest!!!!!!!!!

- Follow up your resumes with a call
- Try to know people at the right places
- Go and hang out at airports where you can meet people who have their own aircraft or making photoflights or do side-seeing trips. Here you fall in from one job into the other one and end up making fun-hours flying (and getting paid)not a lot though.
Dress up smart and behave well.
- Send again follow ups of your resume with the increasing hours
- call again !
and so on.
Good luck !

Fellow Aviator there is one word for you and it is - "Network".
Get as many phone numbers in your phone as possible and ring them every so often. One day one of them will say "hey- you got a job yet? Davo over at Paysucks Air Charter has had a gutful and is moving on...."
The next thing you will know you will be on your last circuit for your line check.
