Hour Building

Does hour building for a jar atpl need to be done by a jar registered school or can I clock 100 hours on an faa registered plane ?

urm, u can but make sure u get receipts, logbook signed/approved, preferably by the local faa office (if they will do it for ya!). You will have to sort out getting a temp faa licence, and say its for pleasure that u wish to fly.
