Question for those who took the Britannia tests
Was a bit rusty on the old physics\mechanics when taking the aptitude tests with Britannia and found myself wasting time over the questions which involved pullies & weights. Can anyone shed any light on these i.e. were the answers to them all the same? If not what were the factors influencing the result (weight, layout of pullies, shape of weights etc.)?
Basically I just want to know how to approach them & solve them as I'm not sure if I did them right & don't want to screw them up again.
Thanks.

Hi,
it's a bit hard to tell where or why you're going wrong without a question in front of me to look at, but if its a real sticking point for you then you'd be best to buy a basic mechanics of structures/solids book or look up questions of that ilk on the web. Otherwise, if you can describe the particular situation/question you're thinking about then i'll try and help you out.
Also, some of us wrote a bit about the later selection stages in a thread called 'Britannia final stage' that you might be interested in.
