CX Cadet Interview

Hi!!
Does any one know what exactly will happen in the first round interview for Cathay's cadet pilot programme??
I was told that there will be written tests on IQ and English, an aptitute test, medical check and individual interview.
What question will they probably ask during interview? What is the different between IQ and aptitute test? Any one have gone through the interview can provide some info to me??
Thanks a lot!!

Hi

Sorry I don't know about the Cathay selection process.

But could answer me a question?

Are you originaly a Hong Kong national? If not, how did you get your right to abode in HKG? Because i wanted to apply to CX, but immagation would not repect my right to perminant residency in HKG! I have only lived there for 14 years prior!

I'd worry more about the medical than the aptitudes mate. What's your background? I'm from Hong Kong too. CX have just closed their scheme, when did you apply for that?

Have you checked if the recruitment ban is still in place before you continue with application?

I know many FOs in the company it might be worth reading up on problems between flight deck and management. I have also been told existing crew are not giving good reception to new faces.

Ban does not affect Cadets.
Have you recived a reply from CX for an interview or written exam?
You need to have basic knowldge on avaition.
A lot of computer flt sims are quite helpfull for non pilots to get a clue about flying.

I will have the interview a few days later, so just want to check it out if anyone know how will the interview be.
Since this is just the first interview for me, I will face the medical only if I can pass this~~
My background? Well, just a U grad.. shortsighted and not studying science subject. How about you?
I applied it in July, and just got the reply from them. But I saw their recruitment ads last week again.

What aviation knowledge will they expect actually??
