Make sure you do this if going to US
Yet another security check,
This came into effect last wednsday week and its only being this week that US FTO's have been notified. From what I gather it has already caught a few out.
WHAT YOU MUST do is to ensure your FTO of choice in the states has sent an e-mail to the US department of state with reference to your visa application and personal/training details. The embassy here in Dublin has told me they will not process the forms until they are assured this has been done.
