Bristol vs Oxford Books for ATPL(H)
Hi I have seen some topics on this subject but not really any recent one.
Can you please tell me what is the current situation. Would you recommend BGS or Oxford books for the exam?
I saw opinion inside the Oxford books is more than I need and in BGS is less but still enough to cover the subjects. This is true?
Are the BGS materials written clearly and explanatory enough so I can use them as main source for self-study?
Btw what QB would you recommend for whichever books I will get?
Thank you for help

Or Paco's book.
I did my ATPL exams in 2017 with Bristol GS and it did the job, but I also used Paco's EPPS. I am now a fixed-wing captain and I still revise some of the ATPL stuff for personal interest and his book (regularly updated - cookies permitting!) is my source.

Use the QBs as your primary source of learning. Use the books a your primary source of understanding. If you only used the QBs and never touched a book, you'd probably pass, if you only read the book you'd probably fail. That's the nature of the system.
