Skills test for one year UK validation of an Australian CPL
Hi,
Does anyone know what this is likely to consist of? It would be single engine VFR only. And also any recommendations for places to do it would be appreciated!

Thanks,

In EASA/UK CAA land, the skills test is the test to obtain a type rating/instrument rating.
So, if you're looking at an A320 skills test, expect the usual RTO, V1 cut, single engine go around, a 3D approach raw data, 2D coupled to the autopilot etc. Expect 3 abnormals, 3 emergencies. The sim will be "dark" so you need to power it up (hint, they can throw a few abnormals in there).
If it's an IR, expect limited panel stuff, holds etc.
