Sample large aircraft performance manuals
Slightly oddball question, I don't need to train for anything right now, but somebody here should know.
I'd like to get hold of some, probably simplified but reasonably accurate performance manuals for part 25 aircraft: something along the lines of a 737 or A320, but I'm not overly fussed what so long as its faintly modern and in the category. I just want to use it to create some example performance figures for some research work I'm doing.
What's out there, possibly published for use in CPL/ATPL exams that I can download or buy for the purpose? I have a vague recollection of having something like that for my JAR CPL writtens a long time ago, but have no idea where all that's gone - a box in the loft probably!

For the JAA ATPL performance exam we had CAP 697. You can google it. Here they use the so called 'medium range jet transport' which is a 737-300 or -400 if I remember correctly. Not sure how accurate those numbers/graphs are.

Sad thing is, i haven't seen any performance manuals for those kind of aircraft in 20 years. All the performance stuff is done in software and the only performance part in the manuals deals with data entry and similar things, not the performance itself.

It is, but I can receive emails via PPrune.
I used to be a PPrune moderator, at which time I had an unlimited mailbox. Since I ceased to be a mod, the sheer number of PM's I'd have to delete to make it work again is silly so I just rely on the email function - which I then have a better record of anyhow.
Best,
G

I have an L1011 manual used by the UK CAA as a set of specimen graphs back in the 1970s/1980s. If there is anything particular you need I can scan it and send.
